A Gentle Note from Swetaranya
For generations, our 170-year-old ancestral home has been the heart of Swetaranya. With just five rooms, we have often had to turn away many of you who wished to stay with us, and for that, we are truly grateful for your love and patience.
To honour this legacy and to serve you better, we are now lovingly reconstructing our ancestral home in the same traditional Kerala architectural style, while thoughtfully expanding our facilities. This transformation will allow us to welcome more guests, offer improved comfort, and preserve the soul of the heritage you cherish.
As this work is currently in progress, there may be occasional sounds of construction within the campus over the coming months. While we are taking every care to keep the environment as calm as possible, we sincerely appreciate your understanding during this phase of renewal.

SHARING THE EXPERIENCE
I had ankylosing spondylitis and HLA-B27. C-reactive protein was from 27 to 64. I had severe back pain and for more than three years my ankle joint hurt, despite the fact that every day I took strong anti-inflammatory drugs. When I arrived at Swetaranya Ayurvedasram, I got out of the taxi with difficulty. The doctor immediately canceled my usual (allopathic) anti-inflammatory drugs and switched to Ayurvedic ones. I went through the treatment for a month, with yoga classes almost everyday, which were very beneficial. At Swetaranya, I was surrounded by incredible care and cleanliness. At the end of the treatment, I felt much better. Then for four months I continued to take the Ayurvedic medicines that the doctor gave me and did yoga, and the pain is completely gone! I began to walk freely! Analyzes have become ideal, C-reactive protein 4.7! (the norm is not higher than 5). Now I do not take any other madicines. I came to Swetaranya Ayurvedasram for the treatment of my low back pain due to Intervertebral Disc Prolapse (IVDP). After two weeks of treatment, I have recovered 95%. The homely atmosphere and dedication of doctor & staff members made my stay very comfortable and relaxing. The food provided was cooked in ayurvedic way and it was very delicious.

Though suffering from a nervous disorder resulting in Parkinsonism, I came to Swetaranya out of insistence from my relatives from Kerala. And it was wonderful, I did the right thing.
